External links - new tab?

as I see, external links always open in the same window/same tag here.
I guess the Chetboard would be more comfortable to use, when external links would open in a new tag automatically, so that it would be easier to remain on the Chetboard and not getting lost somewhere else.
It's a minor issue for sure, compared to the huge amount of work to change the whole system, but I think it would be very helpful in everyday use.
What do you think?
