Hey David!

Yes, I remember seeing him at a Consumer Electronics show in San Fransisco in the 80's when I lived in Sacramento!
Sorry about losing him....very memorable face and voice.

Hi Rande,

Yeah, Nimoy was a very talented man in many areas! I've been told he was a pretty good fingerstyle guitarist also!

With his great finger control (being able to make that "V" greeting it doesn't surprise that he could play fingerstyle guitar.

I once saw a guy play a G chord by forming that "V" shape and reaching around and putting the guitar neck between his middle and index fingers and then grabbing the chord from there!

I apologize for posting this link...it's a part of one of the worst Star Trek episodes ever. It's also not in English, but it does show Mr. Spock playing some kind of futuristic instrument that looks sort of like one the Carter Family used to play...an auto harp? What is the Vulcan phrase for "Far out, man?" I sure enjoyed the various Star Trek series and movies and it's sad that Leonard Nimoy has passed on.
Take care,
Ray
