The Chetboard

After taking over two years to complete it, my new Gospel guitar cd is here, entitled "Offertory Time." It features guitars, keyboards, pedal steel guitar, bass, mandolin, and fiddle on traditional Gospel and southern gospel numbers such as "On the Jericho Road," "Sinner's Plea," "The Lighthouse," "What A Friend We Have In Jesus," etc.---eleven tunes such as we have in our church services week after week. Colon cancer surgery and the battle with myesthenia gravis delayed my good intentions to get it finished sooner, but hopefully it will be a project that folks will enjoy listening to that stays close to the melody of each tune, uncomplicated but with nice harmonies, key changes, etc. Much thanks to my sons Stephen and Joel, Greg Tinsley, and Bruce Northam for their assistance.
