SNOWBIRD - another take

Not wanting to hi-jack another thread or steal anyone's thunder, fans of the tune "Snowbird" should listen to the YouTube and check out Matt Cowe's version. David Paul's version is great! But ol' Matt's version is great also IMHO! These are two fine guitar players and have really nailed that tune. Wish I could play it!!! Steve

In my mind the most difficult aspect of playing that song is to play precisely and correctly in time relative to the echo.

You are right, playing with those repeats take a lot of concentration. To me the most difficult part of the song is that superlick! I really need to prac-tize on that! And Matt and David play it smooth and effortlessly. Both great players. Another player who plays that superlick "slicker-than-a-minner" is Bob Dennis. Super picker and one of the nicest fellars in captivity. Check him out! You'll be in for a treat!!! Steve
