Born on a tobacco farm in September 6, 1935 in Mayfield Kentucky...
And the guitar world was a better place for it.

I may not be much of a guitar player, but I am a better guitar player than I otherwise would have been because of my dear friend, Paul Yandell. Even though there is much room for improvement, I believe I am a better human being also because of Paul Yandell. Paul's friendship was steadfast and loyal. His advice was always golden. I miss him. I miss him a lot.
