Thom is out in California right now. His first date is Thursday June 6th at the Coffee Gallery in Altadena.

I got my reservation for his Thursday concert in Altadena at The Coffee Gallery Backstage! I got to see his dad play out here in Santa Monica a long time ago and now I'll get to see and hear Thom Bresh live.

Well, I went to Thom Bresh's first California gig in decades and he didn't disappoint. He put on a good show playing, singing and telling anecdotes about some of my guitar heroes such as his father, Merle Travis, Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed and others. He does fine voice impressions of each of them too. I'm sure glad I went to see him.
