Chet Club ad in Oklahoma Newspaper...

I put an ad about our Chetpickers club meeting this Saturday in the main Oklahoma City newspaper.

You know that teaching album that Chet had where his brother is introducing Chet before each tune? As an example, Windy and Warm starts out by saying:

"Windy and Warm - normal speed. The 2nd time thru Chet will play rhythm allowing you the opportunity to fill in the missing lead guitar ... And YOU play guitar with Chet Atkins!"

Well, I always thought that was a 'way cool' saying: "...and you play guitar with Chet Atkins." So that's how I place my 2 line ad in the paper. It says:

"You play guitar with Chet Atkins" - this Saturday

I ran the ad for Friday and Saturday. I hope a few others will show up because of the extra $55 bucks I spent for the ad. Oh well, it's all worth it to me. I'm thankful for all ya'll helping us all to play better.
