Nice the way the grain on the cypress follows the angle of the Brazilian rosewood wedge.
I also like the cutaway. I've got a Selmer replica, and the cutaway makes sense.....similar to the Jerry cutaway, but more organic, and more aesthetically pleasing.
I can't wait to play it one day!

Re: Kirk Sand "Craig Dobbins Signature Model" Guitar
I'm visiting Craig's guitar-in-progress. I watched Kirk put the rosette in place. Most guitars have rosettes selected from a catalog. (Kirk and I chose the one for my guitar from the StewMac catalog.) But Kirk wanted to pick up the theme of rosewood and cypress on the back of Craig's guitar so he made a rosewood rosette. Kirk pays attention to details like that. He wants a guitar to look as good as it sounds.
Are you drooling yet, Craig?

Can you smell the Mediterranean cypress and Brazilian rosewood??
I can, 'cause Kirk sent me a scratch and sniff package.
