Eddie and Phil performing at Hall of Fame July 10th 1:00PM

I Just thought I'd shoot this out there in case anyone is interested: Eddie Estes and I will be performing at 1:00pm at the Hall of Fame July 10th (Tuesday before the convention at 1:00PM). If anybody is gonna be at the HOF that day we will be performing in the small performance room. We will be performing some tunes, talking about Chet, Jerry and Paul, sharing some licks and tricks, and I've got something very special to give to a lucky person if they can answer a Chet trivia question! Phil and Eddie, that's super! These two guys are dedicated and accomplished Chet & Jerry guitar pickers, and you stand to learn a lot from their playing. They are always very willing to share their techniques and knowledge of guitar playing. Thanks for the notification.

I am booked every weekend in July; however, I might be able to get to the convention for a few days including your HOF performance. I would enjoy that! I'll let you know for sure later. Where will you guys be staying?

Monday and Tuesday we're not sure where we are staying just yet.
Wednesday through Sunday we are staying at the Embassy Suites
across from the Sheraton.
That picture is a hoot! That's
my first year at the convention and I
was sick with a bad cold. What's funny is I've gained weight and Eddie
has become Mr. Muscles since then. Boy that was a fun year. I remember
you taught me how to play "Girl of the whirling Dervish"....(I think that's the name of it, from Down Home).

Well Phil and Eddie, it looks like I'll be down there at the convention after all! It all fell into place at the last minute.
The problem is that I have classes every evening Monday through Thursday and can only get a replacement for Thursday evening. So I won't be leaving until early Thursday morning. I'll catch the afternoon and evening of Thursday but will have to miss you guys on Tuesday and then the first day of the convention on Wednesday.

I'm looking forward to seeing both of you guys again!

Yes, I'm really looking forward to it. I'll most likely be pretty tired when I arrive on Thursday afternoon because I'll be leaving from Michigan pretty early in the morning. We can work it out though to get together. I wish I didn't have to
miss you and Eddie. See you then!

Damn Phil.....sorry I wont be there to see/hear it...wish I could be. I need that 3rd week of vacation to roll around at work....a couple more years. I'll be at the 2020 CAAS show for sure...if our planet is still here anyways. Pick on dude....Eddie you too! You guys are GREAT. Thanks for keeping the memory of Jerry and Chet alive!
