Doc Watson funeral & guest book

Doc Watson's funeral is today (Sun June 3, 2012). The arrangements and guest book messages may be read or added for friends & fans at the Hampton Funeral Home webpage.

I played a brief tribute on my Gallagher guitar to Doc Watson at last evening's 'Pickin on the Square' in Franklin, NC with a few of the songs Doc usually included in his shows. "I am a Pilgram", "Summertime", "Wayfaring Stranger", "Grandfather's Clock", and "Will the Circle be Unbroken".

Doc Watson's funeral service was held Sunday where fellow musicians spoke about the man and his musical career.
