Didn't say the 70s  I was not in the position to buy my own clothes then.
But even at that they didn't wear pajamas to the store back then.

In the 80s we dressed up to go hang out. Remember the Chess King stores?

Even in the 70s no body where I grew up dressed that extreme!
Of course the two ladies in ABBA were pretty hot in the mini skirts!!!!!!!

Eddie, I knew what you meant. There are always exceptions in any era but I agree that today's trend is tasteless when it comes to teenagers and how they dress. It is an indication of their attitudes and gradually expanding social boundaries and decreasing respect. I even deal with these attitudes at the college level, although the fact that they HAVE TO COOPERATE because of the direct impact on their futures makes it easier for me. At least these problems in my classroom are in the minority and peer pressure from the rest of the class helps me a lot.

Also, I don't think you were talking about ENTERTAINERS when you made your statement.

By the way, in keeping with the original intent of this thread, I received my Jerry CD two days ago, which was much sooner than the estimated 3 weeks that I was told it would take. I agree that it's a wonderful production even though so far I've only listened to it in the car while driving.

I also wanted to congratulate John on the songs that his son recorded!
