The Chetboard

A couple of years ago I had a blog called Keener Music (how original, huh?). After I started doing YouTube videos, I pretty much abandoned it ... blogs can consume way too much of your time if you don't watch it.

Anyway, I've decided to start it back up. It has a few entries, including a tribute to Paul Yandell. I plan to introduce most of my new videos there instead of here. I'm funny about videos: I can go for months without doing any, then I can do three a week for months on end, which gets to be too much posting here. So rather than cluttering the Board up with my stuff, I'll clutter up my blog. That's the plan anyway.

Thought I'd let y'all know that I added a post that is a video tutorial on a couple of different ways to get one of the riffs in Jerry Reed's The Claw. I don't have any other tutorials in mind, and I'm not really the right guy for you to learn from anyway: There's Craig, John Knowles, John McClellan, and many others for that. I do plan to take a couple of my earlier uploads and talk about how I get some of the licks and/or what my thought process was for writing a tune and so on.
