Chet Atkins was a fan of and performed many times on the Parairie Home Companion radio show. Sad news today that the ever popular sound effects man on the show Tom Keith has died of a heart attack. He had amazing talents and contributed greatly to the show's popularity. He was so very imaginative and there seemed to be no sound that he could not replicate.

The show's host, Garrison Keillor, announced they will be doing a tribute to Tom in their special Bill Monroe broadcast from Murray, KY this weekend.
