New Christmas Downloads and AGW Vol 15 No 4

Postby craigdobbins » Fri Oct 21, 2011 4:02 pm

Hello everyone-

Just a couple of quick news items:

1. Christmas music is now on the downloads pages on my website, including The AGW Christmas Collection: http://www.craigdobbins.com/downloads-christmas.html

(Also check out the other Christmas music available: http://www.craigdobbins.com/Christmas.html)

2. AGW Vol 15 No 4 is now available as a single issue. It's a good 'un, with Both Sides Now, Headin' Home, a new arrangement of Amazing Grace, and great moments from Jerry Reed's When You're Hot, You're Hot album- plus video clips, photos, and more! For audio clips and to order, go to:

Thanks for the orders!

I also wanted to mention that Lick of the Week Vol. 1 and 2 are now available as downloads, along with The AGW Christmas Collection and the notation/tab to all the tunes from my Fingerpickin' CD. (So now you can download Fingerpickin' from iTunes for $9.99 and download the notation/tab for $10.95 from my website. That's 19 tunes plus all the tab for just over $20 bucks.)

Check it all out on the downloads pages at http://www.craigdobbins.com.

Thanks,

Craig

P.S. Coming soon- selected AGW issues will be available as downloads, too!

Craig,

I just wanted to say again that it's great that you are doing this. Having tablature available in PDF format is so helpful ... so easy to view on an iPad (or other tablet), where you can zoom in on any portion that might be a little hard to read (aging eyes and all that). Also, a picker can carry around a hundred tabs without worrying about the bulk of paper.

I hope this helps make you a gazillion dollars, as long as you agree to not retire (you need to keep on picking to keep us inspired).

All my best
Bruce

Thanks Bruce. Don't worry, I don't think I'm in danger of retiring anytime soon.

And as I've mentioned before, starting with the current issue (Vol 15 No 4), AGW is no longer on paper- it's an enhanced CD with all the notation/tab in pdf files. So, you can load those onto your tablet as well.

Thanks again,

Craig

P.S. Enjoyed your Beatles arrangements.

Great Craig!

Also, thanks for noting that you enjoyed my Beatles' arrangements. You know of course that I enjoy your Fingerpickin on the Beatles CD ... great picking as always (especially love 8 Days A Week).

I'll hush now ... don't want to hog the thread ... it's just hard for me to take a compliment without returning it with a thank you (that's how I was raised).

All my best
Bruce

Bruce, I appreciate you more all the time and you just added another reason for doing so.
No, you don't need to thank me for the appreciation.....lol

Rande: :)

Just letting everyone know that I downloaded the AGW Christmas Collection, and I love it. Craig plays each tune with such reverence and each note is done with crystal clarity and perfection. For the past several years, I have listened to only two Christmas songs during Christmas season: Chet's I'll Be Home For Christmas and The Carpenter's Merry Christmas Darling. This year I'll also be listening to Craig's tunes.

Note that Craig also provides the sound track for two of the tunes (Oh Holy Night and Silent Night) so you can use them in your playing ... I love this!

Thanks for the plug, Bruce. Let me also mention my full-length Christmas CD, Christmas Time. (It's a "listening" CD, not an instructional CD with tab.) You can order it from my website (http://www.craigdobbins.com/Christmas.html), or download it from iTunes. Here's the iTunes link:
