I've been doing some research on Marty Robbins, Since I live in the same town where Marty grew up, in Arizona.

Do any of you back there near Nashville, know how to contact Jack Pruett, either by email or address. Jack was Marty's guitarist for about 30 years, up until Marty died.

I would contact Leon Rhodes with the Musician's Union in Nashville. He probably knows how to contact Jack.

I wonder if he is related to the great guitar player Sammy Pruett, husband of Jeanne Pruett of "Satin Sheets" fame in 1973.

Paul, Jack was married to Jeanne, they are now divorced, according to Wikipedia.
Jeanne became Marty's office manager while Jack was his stage guitarist, keeping it all in the family.

Thank you for the information. The first time I saw him play was on a package show at Vet's Memorial in Columbus, Ohio in the 1960's.
