Pickin' at the Fair
I enjoyed a nice afternoon pickin' for the folks at our local Macon County Fair in Franklin, NC. I only have photos to show. I followed the Cake Show and auction which raised over $1,000 for the fair. I played my Taylor 912C with LR Baggs M1 soundhole PU and Music Man RD50 and a direct line out to the Passport stage PA. The setup worked good enough to cover the open side shelter and the main fairground entrance. The local fairs and such are good places to hone your stage presence and create a musical atmosphere for those attending all the exhibits, demonstrations, but be sure to stay upwind from the livestock barns
