Pappy "Gube" Beaver
Posted: Wed Sep 14, 2011 8:32 pmI've just started a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds to produce a documentary short about Pappy "Gube" Beaver. Pappy is a 92 year old Knoxville preacher and musician who reportedly recorded a four song session with Chet Atkins in 1944 (including Pappy's song "You Can Be a Millionaire with Me"). If the film is funded it will include long interviews with Pappy, including his Chet Atkins connections.
