string-bending king Jerry Donahue (some might know him from the Hellecasters or British folk groups like Fairport Convention or Fotheringay) just announced a 3rd solo album due to be released later this year on his Facebook page.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I spent a little time with Jerry when I lived in Southern California and he was performing a lot with the Hellecasters at the Palamino Club in Hollywood. We attended a performance of Chet & Jerry Reed at McAbe's Music Store in mid '92. John Jorgenson may have been the more flamboyant performer on stage, but my focus was always on Jerry.
