Back in the mid 1990s my dad, Aaron Cowles, custom made a fingerstyle guitar for a friend of ours. It is an ES-350 style body in cherry sunburst, with TV Jones pickups (Filtertron and Supertron in the classic Chet Atkins configuration) and a Bigsby. I have a bunch of pictures of it here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/10854206@N00/799z56
I will put up a youtube video of it as soon as I can.
The man who had it commissioned is in his 80s and can't really play any more, so he wants to sell it. I think $4000 is a good starting point, but we would entertain decent offers on it.
This thing really has the tone and it plays like a dream.
I had to respray the back of the neck because the owner polished it so much that he wore a hole into the finish up near the 3rd fret. It comes with the nice tweed hardshell case.
Please let me know if you're interested in it or if you know someone who might be.
Thanks
Steve Cowles

It is gorgeous, and it plays like a dream, and it sounds wonderful, and now the owner has decided he wants to keep it. So, as of right now it's NFS, not for sale. Sorry folks
