I took the guitar to george gruhn yesterday and after an in person inspection of the guitar he said he would list it for $2850. I would only get 2200 if it sold for that so i would rather split the diff and sell it myself for $2,500.
He said the tailpiece i had in the case was not an original heritqge tailpiece and that there were more scratches than he could see in the pics,,,,so its a player, not a collectors piece. It still plays great and sounds great and to my eyes looks pretty darn good. Thanks for looking...email me with questions
Re: Heritage Super Eagle F/S $2,500
I lowered the price on this guitar to $2500
I took it to George gruhn and he lowered his in hand value appraisal to $2850...he said the guitar had more scratches on it than he thought based on the pics and the tailpiece i took off of it to put on the bigsby was not an original heritage tailpiece....so in other words he considers it a player and not a collector item...it still plays great, sounds great, and looks very very good to my eyes
Just thought you might like to know this info

Larry
Here's you a bump and confirmation that your price if anything is too low. I ordered a new one a couple of years ago and with a wood upgrade to flamed maple it went just north of 6 grand. Ouch!
Your Price is a deal. P'S I like that Merle arm too

Larry, Do you still have the Super Eagle for sale. If so I am very interested in it. Could you email me some pictures of the back.. Is the neck width at the nut 1 and 11/16 inches? My name is Jim Beeny. My email is jbeeny2000@yahoo.com
