I'm selling my custom 2005 Gretsch 6119-1962.

This guitar was custom ordered through Mike Lewis of Fender/Gretsch, and I waited a year and a half for it. It has a custom wide neck, short scale, but the same width/radius/taper as the 1959 Country Gentleman. I also requested the plain "Gretsch" pickguard. It was set up (new nut, fret job, etc.) by Sonny Thomas, who also installed two TV Jones HiLoTron pickups.

The guitar and case are in mint condition, and comes with the original documentation. I have recorded with this guitar and used it in AGW and Lick of the Week, but it has only been played out a few times.

This is a versatile instrument, and gets a great mid-60's Chet sound as well as the classic George Harrison/60's pop tones. It intonates well with either wound or plain (0.017) 3rd string.

$2000, serious inquiries only. More photos available on request.

Thanks!

Craig

Hi Craig,

What are the nut width and scale lengths?

Thanks,

Nut width is a little over 1 3/4". As I said above, it's the same width and shape as the 1959 CG.

The scale length is 24.6, the short Gretsch scale.

Thanks,

Craig
