I didn't remember what a 6121-1955 Gretsch was so I went to the GretschPages and looked at one. They are soooo purdy!!! Hope you find one worth the money!! I was just gonna say, I bought a 5125 Electromatic black on black all the way with the Dynasonic pickups. I think you are really gonna like the Dynasonics. They have a different sound and tone than the Filtertrons, more of what I like to call the "early" Chet sound. They say Chet didn't really care for the Dynasonics but he sure got a nice sound out of them. Reckon that's all he had before the Filtertrons came along with the exception of the P-90's and the Bigsby neck pickup on his D-Angelico. I get a good sound from my Dynasonics with an old EP-3 tube type echoplex. Hope you find one at a garage sale in near mint condition for $40.00!!! Oh yeah, that includes the original hardshell case, Gretsch strap, and a yeller fuzzy Gretsch polishing cloth! Good luck! Fellow Okie, Steve Sanders in Duncan

This is the 6121 with a Bigsby and D´Armond Dynasonic pickups. The other one without the Bigsby, otherwise identical, is called the 6130 Roundup. Chet didn´t like those pickups because he thought they sucked the sustain out of the strings. I own a modern (2009) 6130 Roundup KPW with TV Jones Dynasonics. There´s nothing wrong with the sustain of that one.
