Musicman Rd 50 MINT for sale on ebay

Postby srgntschultz » Sat Sep 15, 2012 7:32 pm

I have a Musicman Rd 50 in MINT condition with the footswitch and all tuned up by terry loose with the original correct musicman parts. And i have a Blonde Rd 50 also in good shape and tuned up i am going to sell after this one is done or sells or if anyone is interested. I also listed a vintage sound hand wired princeton blackface reverb amp in mint condition for sale. It does not have the vibrato circuit but a treble, mid, bass presence and 2 reverb controls on it,great steve wariner tone from his tribute to chet cd,think leaving luttrell tone!

Here's the link -

I've owned several of these throughout the years, but none as nice as this one. Good luck with the sale -

Tim, I cant see 400 for a used amp. I could go 250 if you could drive it down. I used to have a Musicman guitar in the 1980s. Good luck with your sale. Looks nice

Hi Wes,

I think I'd have to disagree with you regarding the value of a Music Man RD-112-50 amp. These regularly go for anywhere from $500-600.00 on eBay! They are, of course, considered a collectors item now, having been discontinued way back in the eighties. The fact that they were also the choice of Chet Atkins himself, for his road amp, also adds to their value I'm sure! See Paul Yandell's comments in 'FAQ for Paul Yandell', regarding this amp!

Hi David,
I was just kidding with Tim. I have 2 of them already and do know their value and you are right on it with the price. Eddie Van Halen played a Musicman guitar and Tim played that style many years ago so I was just joking with him. Music Man RD50 is a nice amp for Chetstyle. If anyone is looking for one this is a good choice he takes care of his stuff. Thanks, Wes

I paid $600 for mine a few years ago, so seems in the ballpark.
