CAAS 2011: Friday Edition

This morning got off to a good start, with Audie putting on his Revisiting Reed workshop on Stage 2. Audie played his McCullough Clawmaster, as well as a tele-style guitar. Songs included "In The Pines", "Stumpwater", "Don't Think Twice", and "Muleskinner Blues". He sounded great!

I then saw Craig Dobbin's set. He played some original material, some Reed, some Beatles, and a few hymns. He played perfect as always. He played part of the set on his Sand guitar, and part on a Baldwin which I think he said belonged to Bill Park.

George,
You may want to reduce the size of your photos. The Chetboard is cutting off the right side of them. Thanks for keeping us updated! I just looked and I haven't been there since 2007. I need to make plans to go again!

George,
Maybe it's just my computers and phone, don't know. I'm not sure what the Chetboard acceptable sizes are, maybe some of the administrators could answer that for us. I usually don't post over 480x640. That seems to work.

George,
The same thing is happening at my computer as well. I was looking for photos of Harold Bradley and Bresh and couldn't find them. You'll figure it out I'm sure.

Regardless, keep 'em coming they are great photos and they capture the moment in time!

I'm performing for the Franklin Folk Festival tomorrow (Saturday)which is a big deal in this part of North Caolina. I set up this evening and they expect thousands in attendance tomorrow (Saturday)

Thanks

Thanks again George. The reduced size works better for me too, the larger versions get cropped in both IE and Firefox.

George,
Now you got it going! Works good here too. Good to see the photo of Bobby Bare as I recalled doing a show with him in 1980 in Quincy, Ill. when I was playing guitar that spring with singer-songwriter Dickey Lee. Bobby had a great band called 'Tennessee Pulleybone',that we jammed with during sound check. "Detroit City", "Marie Laveau", and other musical memories that Bobby performed during the matinee and evening performance!

Thanks for the reduced size photos.
