The Chetboard

I know this is something that Chet and Paul came up with but who has received this award. Also maybe a story of how this came about. Would be most helpful to me.

P.S. My Bad - I just found the FAQ of Paul Yandell and found my answer.

I think that Paul suggested it to Chet. The folks that officially received the award from Chet are John Knowles, Jerry Reed, Steve Wariner, and Tommy Emmanuel. I'd sure love to see Tommy, John, and Steve get together and do a CD with some Chet and Jerry music.

It would be wonderful if those three would get together and do so kind of album of Chet and jerry songs. I was also wondering why Mark Knofler was not one of the CGP's, seems that Mark and Chet had a very wonderful relation and Mark sure can play.
