Hello,

after listening to the mentioned recording, I read that Jerry plays guitar on that album, too.
He is listed for playing on "Squirrely" and "Mister Lucky".

"Mister Lucky" is an incredible composition, one of his best in my opinion. Does anyone know if Jerry plays the whole song, or only parts?

Here is the full album. Maybe my favourite Chet-album.

Thanks for helping.

Mr Lucky is tough to pull off. I at one time could play the first half (with the swing feel) then when the arrangement goes straight, that’s a different story! That part sounds incredibly tough.

John Knowles had tabbed it out. That’s where I learned it. But he only tabbed the swing feel part.

It’s been so long since I played the arrangement, i’m sure I don’t even remember it anymore.

Jerry is only playing rhythm. You can hear Jerry playing from 01:27.

I really like playing this song! In my opinion this one isn't too hard to play. The solo is a challenge though.
