Wayfaring Stranger

OK, I know I can't keep up this fast paced spacing but here's "I'm Just a Poor Wayfaring Stranger" that I just performed a few weeks ago at a local church. I thought some of you might enjoy the harmony.

Bravo Rande !!!
The stratocaster, however, I never liked it as a guitar, it has a sound too "thin"!!!!

Keep it up!!!

Thank you, Paolo. Did you listen with headphones? It isn't the guitar but what the guitar is plugged into. I also don't like a "thin" sound. I play through a sound system with lots of bass but I'm experimenting with the recording. I will be posting another video with my Godin Multiac and make sure to listen with headphones. Thanks!

Yes, Rande much better with headphones;
however, in general, I find the Strato a guitar with a thin sound;
like solidbody I prefer the Telecater (as single coil), or a Les Paul as humbucking;
and anyway they are my tastes, not the truth !!!

Anyway, congratulations again !!!!

Yes, the pickups, tone settings, and amp make a big difference. When I first got this guitar I immediately installed Lace Sensor pickups. These were the silver, gold, and blue. I purposely avoided the red "hot" one for the shrill highs that I don't like. I prefer the "warm" jazz sound. When I play with a band, I am sometimes criticized for not using enough highs and trebles. I agree with Paolo's taste. I think you would all be impressed when I play through my sound system at home.

One of the few Strato-Style guitars that I liked a lot is the Vinetto of my friend Mario. Really a remarkable tool, many more harmonic than a normal layer, will be the woods and the pickups and the wiring.

Yes Roger, Great sound that of ray cummins but that twang given by the Strato does not make me crazy like that of a gretsch or a telecaster.
