Does anyone know if Chet used a capo on his cut of Winter Walkin'?
In a book I have the transcription shows no capo, but on Y'tube, Matt Cowe does the arrangement hauntingly like Chet with a capo at 3.
So did Chet capo when he recorded it?
Re: Winter Walkin' capo or no?
Doug, the tune is played in the key of C; what does the recording sound like? If it sounds like C, then no capo, but if it is in D, capo on the 2nd fret, et c.
Edit: "if it is in D, capo on the 2nd fret..." I had originally mistyped C instead of D, but I imagine that everyone understood despite the misprint.
