As far as Paul goes I really don't know how we got to be close friends. It just seemed to happen naturally.
I would get a email from him every other week or so and he called me a few times. He was always helpful and encouraged me and Phil Hunt.

Paul is the reason we got to play at the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Reed tribute they had at CAAS one year.
I can say that having Paul as a friend was one of the highlights of my life. I can also say that Micah and Marie are like family.
