Looking for a teacher online

Postby Bigfan » Wed Jan 07, 2015 6:10 pm

I want to play improvising fingerpicking guitar in the style of Chet Atkins and I am looking for a teacher online. I live in Europe, Spain, and know nobody here who's able to teach this kind of fingerpicking. I purchased all books about Chet and they included specifically songs, but almost nothing on improvisation. Any help? Any book about it.

Happy 2015 to you all.

Rob Bourassa - https://www.facebook.com/pages/ROB-BOUR ... 5816409222

He used to come to the Chet Convention all the time. Great player - great teacher...

Brooks Robertson is a superb teacher, just like his mentor Buster B. Jones was.

Brooks offers the "Ultimate Fingerstyle Toolbox" through Truefire, with personalized video answers:

He may also be willing to give Skype lessons according to your personal needs. Just get in touch with him through his website and/or Facebook: http://www.brooksrobertson.com/

With the time shift, it is super comfortable to do with you being in Europe in the (early) evening maybe and Brooks sitting in front of his computer in the morning.

Cheers,

Ingo
