The Wrecking Crew

"The Wrecking Crew" is an excelent read, a book about the LA version of the "A-Team" recording musicians. While it only mentions Nashville a few times it is an interesting narrative of studio musicians and their effect on music in America in the last half of the twentieth century. Of particular interest was reading how Glenn Campbell's life and fortunes paralelled the industry.

You'll definitely learn things you may not have been aware of and the way studio business was conducted in LA could not have been too different from the way it was done in Nashville.

That should do it.

Sounds like some interesting reading Norm. I read Tommy Tedesco's autobiography and it was real intersting. I'll make a point to read The Wrecking Crew sometime.
