Heard "Armen's Theme" on XM Radio by its composer David Seville,aka Ross Bagdasarian, and of Alvin and the Chipmunks fame.
As you might remember this tune kicked off the Chet Atkins in Hollywood album. I don't know if this was the arrangement from the related movie but it was interesting to listen to. See attached link.
Most of the lead I think was a guitar that I don't know how it was set up to sound the way it did. Or maybe I'm so used to Chet's version(guitar) anything else sounds weird. In the background was an organ and then a piano took the lead for awhile .
Some of the triva with the utube link mentioned that Armen is David's wife and the same song carried a different title of "Yesterday and You" charted by Bobby Vee.

This is the first song I remember hearing played live by Bill Grant, a man in my neighbooorhood who could play really well. He loved Chet and inspired me.
