Mike Auldridge took Dobro playing up a notch from Josh Graves. Mike was a superb musician who brought the instrument out of the "hillbilly" pen and applied it with great taste to modern standards. He was a huge inspiration to Jerry Douglas and others.
Mike recently went into hospice. Cancer.
Spare a thought for him and his family...
Didn't know where else to put this... Mike Auldridge

Sorry to hear that, and I wish him the best! Somewhere I have a recording that features Mike with the Bluegrass group 'Seldom Scene'. He is a smooth and talented player!
