Could anyone tell me which of the following reissues of the "Me and Jerry" and "Me and Chet" albums are the best in terms of sound quality (balance, detail, etc.)? I prefer vinyl above anything but I want a copy of these classics in my collection.
Thanks a bunch!
Re: Best reissue Me and Jerry/Me and Chet
Hi Hendrik,
The One Way CD sounds like the vinyl. I think it has not been remastered.
Other CDs are equivalent.
The Raven Records reissue is interesting. The sound quality is good and there are bonus tracks from the album "chet picks on Jerry Reed" previously unavailable on CD (I'll say she does, Baby's coming on ...)
Regards, Jean-Luc

Thanks Jean-Luc, that helps a lot. Will order the Raven Records reissue; luckily it's not as scare as the One Way Records one.
