Paul not being featured in the current HOF exhibit

Postby Norm » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:25 pm

The topic came up on gretschpages about why Paul Yandell wasn't featured prominently in the current HOF exhibit, It got kicked around here but I couldn't find the thread but I think I found the answer.

Paul was still living when they planned and executed this exhibit and I have no doubt he insisted that he not be included in the exhibit. He was Chet's second and his life was dedicated to supporting Chet and not distracting attention from Chet. I can see him getting pretty pushy about having it his way.

I think that's what happened and I think they're respecting his wishes...

Thanks, Chuck.

I added my comment to the tail end of that thread in case someone stumbles on it down the road
