Well, I'm flummoxed. I can't find the Lenny Breau related quote. I went through both Vol I and II of the three dimiension books and came up dry.

I know I read it.. either in the Lenny Breau biography (One Long Tune) or in one of the Chet Atkins in 3 dimensions books by John McClellan.

Did you check the Les Paul books ("an American Original" by Shaunessy or "In His Own Words" by Cochran)?

That sounds like something Les would have said....

I don't think Les even acknowleged Lenny's existance in print or interview
