A couple of folks have asked about the DVD. It's a "playing" DVD, with four tunes and an interview from each of the artists (John Standefer, Bob Evans, and myself). We all joined together at the end for a little "Windy and Warm" in tribute to Chet- THE master of fingerstyle guitar. (I've always felt a little uncomfortable with the title of the DVD, but that's Mel Bay...)

Anyway, the bonus CD includes the notation/tab for 3 of my tunes from the DVD, plus performance notes, chord diagrams, and audio files. Sort of completes the package, at least for my tunes.

I ordered and received the DVD bundle which includes a copy of the Masters of Fingerstyle Guitar, Volume 1. It included a couple of Winfield winners - Bob Evans and John Standefer, and Mr. Craig Dobbins! They each play 4 arrangements, and then they jam on Windy and Warm at the end. Included are some interviews of each of these three great performers, conducted by Bill PIburn. The bundle also includes a CD produced by Craig which has some tracks and lessons which included performance notes a lesson, tabs, and chord diagrams. Craig posted earlier and said "I've always felt a little uncomfortable with the title of the DVD...." but I suggest that he get used to it, because the title of the DVD is accurate. No false ads here! I'm glad I did not have to pay full price for this bundle!!! The lesson material alone is worth more than the purchase price. Great deal for me and anyone else who would opt to take advantage of it. Yes, I was impressed by it.
