Hi Roger, I don't have a tab for it, but I like Ed Gerhard's arrangement. I think Ed sells a book with his arrangement in it. You can buy it on his website. There is a youtube of Ed playing it. Just search youtube with his name and the title. You can pretty much pick it up by watching him play it. The song itself is an old English folksong.. My wife has the sheet music for it and the melody itself almost has a hymn or gospel quality to it.. IMHO.
P.S. I just remembered that Jack Baker said he had a tab for it on his site :)

thank-you sir . i to like his arrangement . i am sure he is using open tuning on this one . i believe Mr. Rick Allredds arrangement is also based off his , but has made it is own, since he plays for a living . Rick seems to be a master at using backtracks, and devices like the jamman or boss rc loop station. and with Ricks since of harmony you have to love his arrangements.

a very good friend of mine from paltalk days Mr Boris Bursac has sent me an arrangement of the water is wide , nicely done , will have some work cut out for me to get it into open tuneing , sounds like fun .

Roger... It is in Drop D.. At least that is what Ed's arrangement uses..
