Matthias! Just listened to the song and came up with the following. Please correct the lyrics as I'm not a native english speaker.

Jerry Reed - Take a Walk
The Unbelievable Guitar & Voice of Jerry Reed - 1967

[Intro]

Verse 1:
I've seen that hungry look you've been giving my woman
And I know what's going on in the back of your mind
So you better do yourself a big favor and hear me closely
Cause fellow I'm just gonna tell you this one time

Chorus:
You better take a walk son, stop looking at my woman
You better going find yourself another chick some place
Yes you better take a walk boy, stop by my pride and my joy
Well I'm gonna make you changes in your face

Verse 2:
You think I don't know what you've been thinking
That you like to take my woman away from me
But she's my and she's going to stay that way forever
And you ain't gonna take nothing but the time to leave. Tell him guitar

[Instrumental]

Verse 3:
If there's a brain left in your head son you better use it
And try to talk you feet into moving you out of this town
Cause if you keep trying to push yourself off of my woman
You might just wind up pushing little daisies up from the ground

Chorus:
So you better take a walk son, stop looking at my woman
You better going find yourself another chick some place
Yes you better take a walk boy, stop by my pride and my joy
Well I'm gonna make you changes in your face. Tell him guitar

[Outro]

Hendrik - you're almost spot on... I made a couple of amendments as I hear it:

Verse 1:
I've seen that hungry look you've been giving my woman
And I know what's going on in the back of your mind
So you better do yourself a big favor and hear me closely
Cause fellow I'm just gonna tell you this one time

Chorus:
You better take a walk son, stop looking at my woman
You better go and find yourself another chick some place
Yes you better take a walk boy, stop eyein' my pride and my joy
Or I'm gonna make a few changes in your face

Verse 2:
You think I don't know what you've been thinking
That you'd like to take my woman away from me
But she's my and she's going to stay that way forever
And you ain't gonna take nothing but the time to leave. Tell him guitar

[Instrumental]

Verse 3:
If there's a brain left in your head son you better use it
And try to talk you feet into moving you out of this town
Cause if you keep trying to push yourself off on my woman
You might just wind up pushing little daisies up from the ground

Chorus:
So you better take a walk son, stop looking at my woman
You better going find yourself another chick some place
Yes you better take a walk boy, stop eyein' my pride and my joy
Or I'm gonna make a few changes in your face. Tell him guitar

Angus, I knew it couldn't be spot on haha. Thanks, it seems to be right with your corrections!

Just realised that should be 'make a few changes in your face'. One of my favourites - there's a great Youtube clip of a very young looking Jerry playing it.

Hi @ ALL

@Hendrik: You made my day - AGAIN!
also a big Thank you for AngusH for correction and a special Thank to Phil Hunt.
I figured this song out by watching his little instructional-clip on youtube.

Now i have to get this little tricky pattern in line with the lyrics. Usually i dont have problems to
play guitar and sing along, but its different when the guitar-part is not as usual as strumming the guitar.

But i will hang on it - and maybe i will post a little clip here.

@AngusH:
Yeah - i saw that clip - Jerry sounds surprised that he really was THAT young
